Law Enforcement Support
Our aviation section utilizes light observation helicopters and RC-26B aircraft to provide optical/IR surveillance, photography, video, and Airborne C2 support to federal, state and local drug investigations. We typically fly 100 hours annually at no cost to the requesting agency. Last year our aviation section participated in marijuana eradication which resulted in over 4,200 plants being confiscated in 2010.
Our criminal analysts provide support to multiple federal, state and local agencies with a military approach to analytical and technical case support. These services range from traditional link analysis, document exploitation, and case construction to ion scanning of evidence for excessive drug residue levels.
Last year, our criminal analyst and aviation section supported just under 950 arrests and the seizure of narcotics, currency, and weapons valued at over $68,000,000.
